Afternoon Wolves, how are we doing?! The evenings may be getting darker, but these events are sure to bring some sparkle to your weekend.

This week we've got a Saturday afternoon day party, a fireworks night for little ones who hate the loud noises, and a free walk for new parents. Plus a few deals that'll make midweek a bit cheaper.

If you're missing summer already, Ibiza Day Club is taking over WV1 Cocktail Bar this Saturday. Four DJs will be playing house and disco classics all day. Perfect for party animals looking for a holiday vibe.

If you’re looking to head into the weekend with a few laughs, head down to the Stile Inn for a night of comedy with Dave Chawner and Mikey Crump. Tickers are £12, but you can add food for an extra £7.

Not every kid loves fireworks. Plenty of grown-ups don't either. This slumber party gives you all the Bonfire Night fun without the loud noises, which is perfect if you've got little ones or anyone who finds the bangs too much.

West Park Closure. The park and West Park Cafe will be shut to the public on Friday so the team can safely set up for the fireworks that evening. Plan your dog walk accordingly. More here.

Acess to Central Children's Library. It's shut temporarily while some exciting improvements are made, but young readers will still be able to access library services and regular group activities while it goes on. More here.

Cheap bowling at Superbowl UK. On weekdays from 11am to 3pm, it's two games for £10 each. Wednesdays from 6pm are £5 a game, with half price 8" pizzas and selected drinks.
